A single system for sanding and polishing.
The Duetto is designed to work equally well with soft interface pads and micro-abrasives,
and with polishing pads, achieving excellent performance in both modes.
Careful studies on the dynamics of random orbital movement and extensive practical tests led to the choice of an eccentricity of 6mm (12mm total orbit);
the correction capability of the latest generation micro-abrasive discs is incredibly enhanced,
particularly when working on orange peel or extensive defects with great uniformity in the depth of the sanding marks.
The same random orbital movement then guides the polishing pads in an effective
and incredibly easy action, quickly achieving very high levels of finish.
The use of micro-abrasive discs for correcting more significant defects speeds up and simplifies the polishing cycle,
reducing interventions that would otherwise be very strenuous if performed in polishing-only mode to just a few minutes.
This process requires machines with accurate balancing and excellent movement control;
small variations can lead to uneven surface roughness, which then requires hard work in subsequent stages.
The Duetto is easy to guide, creating an excellent feel with the operator right away.
In particular, some features contribute to a good result, such as the anti-spinning device that limits the possibility of errors
even for less experienced operators, the front grip that facilitates resting the palm of the hand at the virtual center
of the eccentric mass, and the electronic module with torque control.
In addition, the rubber support allows the Duetto to be placed on the workbench, avoiding contamination of the abrasive by dust that
could accidentally be transferred to the surface to be worked on, damaging it.
