Glasurit has further revolutionized its wet-on-wet primer system to enable body shops to achieve perfect results more quickly and economically. With this concept, sanding of new cathodic dip-coated components can even be omitted. Leave the sandpaper in the cupboard and save valuable labor hours – up to 15% per component! In addition, the system is a complete package for almost all substrates – even plastics. The new 522-10 Plastic Substrate Additive ensures that the wet-on-wet primer adheres even to plastic components. This means that body shops will no longer need to use adhesion promoters or other special products, saving up to 25% in labor hours. Simply use the plastic additive instead of the thinner. That's all there is to it! The complete package includes Glasurit's HS VOC wet-on-wet filler surfacers 285-31 grey, 285-38 white, and 285-49 black, as well as the 522-10 Plastic Substrate Additive. The new wet-on-wet primer concept ensures the same perfect results as its predecessor, but achieves significantly greater savings in terms of material and labor.
