Gelson anti-drumming panels (vibragel self-adhesive panels) are flexible sound-insulating sheets used for reducing airborne noise, isolating impact noise, and dampening vibrations. They absorb a portion of energy and convert it into heat through internal friction processes. This results in a significant reduction of radiated noise, as well as the partial or total elimination of the metallic resonance character of the supports. Composed of a flexible calendered compound based on bitumen, SBS, and mineral fillers of varying grain size; the upper face is coated with a self-adhesive glue protected by removable yellow silicone paper, and the lower face is a smooth surface treated with a release agent. Used on metal parts in motor vehicles, air conditioning units, household appliances, metal furniture, elevator cabs, and various types of machines and machinery.
