Gelson anti-vibration panels (Vibragel self-adhesive panels) are flexible soundproofing sheets used for reducing airborne noise, impact noise, and vibrations. They capture part of the energy and convert it into heat through internal friction processes. This results in a significant reduction of radiated noise, as well as the partial or total elimination of the metallic character of the supports' resonance. Made of a flexible calendered compound based on bitumen, SBS, and mineral fillers of various grain sizes; the upper face is coated with a self-adhesive glue protected by removable yellow silicone paper, and the lower face is a smooth surface treated with release agent. Used on metal parts in vehicles, air conditioning units, household appliances, metal furniture, elevator cabins, and various types of machines and machinery.
