Gelson Abrasive Paste for matting. Improves the adhesion of overcoats. Does not contain silicones. Can be used with a damp sponge or abrasive pad.
They are used in the case of touch-ups and partial painting, when the old part needs to be blended with the new part; this eliminates the need for a sharp cut. In the case of double-layer paints, or other types of pastel colored enamels, they ensure better adhesion between the old and new paint. These pastes eliminate the risk of making deep scratches, which usually only become apparent when the work is finished and the paint is dry, thus compromising the final result. There is also no risk of "peeling" already painted edges. These are water-based products, leaving a clean surface, without residues and ready for painting.
