Gelson Abrasive Paste for matting. Improves adhesion of overcoats. Silicone-free. Can be used with a damp sponge or abrasive pad.
They are used for touch-ups and partial painting, when the old part needs to be blended with the new part; thus eliminating the need for a sharp cut. In the case of two-coat paints, or other types of pastel colored enamels, they ensure better adhesion between the old and new paintwork. With these pastes, the risk of making deep scratches, which usually only become apparent after the work is finished and the paint is dry, thus compromising the final result, is eliminated. There is also no danger of "peeling" already painted edges. These are water-based products, leaving a clean surface, without residue, and ready for painting.
