Single-component product that can be applied directly to bumpers and plastic parts to recreate the original textured/medium orange peel finish of 1942 and the fine orange peel finish of 1945. Product available in aerosol version: 1942 spray with medium texture (grey and black colors) and 1945 smooth spray (grey and black colors). Wash and degrease the surface to be treated thoroughly with a water-based cleaner and dry. To obtain different effects, dilute with thinner from a minimum of 10% to a maximum of 30%. It is recommended to use a spray gun with a top-feed tank, nozzle Ø 1.7 – 1.9 mm, pressure 3 – 4 atm. Apply a first full coat and blend (if necessary) only with the last coat. Wet-on-wet topcoat with all types of solvent-based car body enamel; for water-based topcoats, apply after drying. If the topcoat is applied after the product has completely hardened, light sanding is recommended.
