Gelson 1942 Textured Paint.
Single-component product that can be applied directly to bumpers and plastic parts to recreate the original textured/medium orange peel look with 1942 and fine orange peel with 1945.
Product available in aerosol version: 1942 medium texture spray (grey and black colors) and 1945 smooth spray (grey and black colors).
SURFACE PREPARATION: Wash and thoroughly degrease the surface to be treated with a water-based cleaner (Bumper Cleaner code 30798) and dry.
DILUTION: To obtain different effects, dilute with thinner (code 80301) from a minimum of 10% to a maximum of 30%.
APPLICATION: We recommend using a spray gun with a top-mounted reservoir, nozzle Ø 1.7 – 1.9 mm, pressure 3 – 4 atm. Apply a first full coat and blend (if necessary) only with the last coat.
OVERCOATING: Wet-on-wet with all types of solvent-based car body enamel; for water-based products after drying. If overcoating is done after the product has fully hardened, light sanding is recommended.
STORAGE: 1 year, in original packaging, in a cool and dry place
