R52 is a two-component, medium specific gravity, fine-grained polyester spatula filler for car bodies, trucks, industrial vehicles, and boats. The main characteristics of R52 are: ease of application, excellent vertical spreadability, and easy sanding.
It withstands temperatures up to 120°C.
The base is made of unsaturated polyester resin in styrene. White color.
R52 is applied with a spatula directly onto: ¾ Bare sheet metal, thoroughly degreased and sanded; ¾ Old paints, previously sanded with P80; ¾ Sanded fiberglass. Do not apply at temperatures below 5°C.
MINIMUM SANDING TIME: In air at 20°C: 30 minutes With IR lamp: 5 minutes.
R52 can be overpainted with any type of primer.
