3M 9374 is a coarse-grit compound used on freshly applied paints to remove noticeable imperfections such as orange peel effect.
It is also used on surfaces to be painted and previously treated with abrasive papers to rectify and smooth the surface, removing all sanding marks before applying the first coat of paint.
The product can also be used to remove halos caused by incorrect spray painting.
This abrasive compound is extremely functional in the nautical sector for gelcoat polishing treatment as a preliminary application for final polishing with very fine abrasive compounds.
