The 3M pre-cut weatherstrip tape features a rigid band that slides gently behind the moldings, lifting them slightly from the body. This tape allows paint to penetrate under the weatherstrips, masking them during painting, without having to remove or replace them. Thanks to the use of this tape, perfect blends are achieved that do not require rework.
No scissors or utility knife are needed to cut the tape as the pre-cut allows it to be torn by hand, saving time. It features a polymer film backing that resists tensile force and is easily removed. Rigid bands available in 4 widths: 5 mm, 7 mm, 10 mm, 15 mm.
