The 3M Hookit 260L disc is used for clear coat matting and for rectifying paint defects. These discs with aluminum oxide mineral allow for a uniform finish, eliminating any paint defects such as runs, dirt nibs, and excessive orange peel.
The discs can be easily removed from the backing pads. They are quicker and easier to use than scuff pads, and faster and cleaner than wet sanding.
