Once the two components are mixed, the product can be sprayed using the 3M 08996 applicator. Alternatively, the 3M 08987 spray kit can be used. Once dry, 3M protective sealants provide a coating with excellent sound-deadening properties and excellent protection against rust and chipping. They adhere perfectly to unpainted metal, body filler and paint. They can be overpainted and baked at a maximum temperature of 60 °C.
