Once the two components are mixed, the product can be sprayed using the 3M 08996 applicator. Alternatively, the 3M 08987 spray kit can be used. Once dry, 3M protective sealants provide a coating with excellent sound-damping properties and excellent protection against rust and stone chips. They adhere perfectly to metal, even unpainted, to putty, and to paint. They can be overpainted and baked at a maximum temperature of 60°C.
