3M 80349 ABRASIVE PASTE EXTRA FINE 1 LITER

Description

The 3M 80349 pasta has been developed to impart a high gloss to modern scratch-resistant paints, but is also effective on standard paints.
Ideal for use both on original paint on both surfaces repainted, to remove sanding scratches after grinding of coating defects such as nibs, sagging and orange peel.
Application:
1. Always shake the bottle well before use
2. Sand any defects with the grain finish discs P1500, or with abrasive paper sheets to P2000 grit water. If you need to remove nibs using Finesse-it diskettes
3. Trim the scratches with the discs 3M Trizact finish of the appropriate size. On coatings resistant to scratches will need a longer sanding than on standard coatings.
4. Apply the paste using a polisher and the headset in wool 3M 01927. Use a sufficient quantity of the product and, on repainted parts, do not initiate polisher dry.
5. Check the complete removal of the signs, wiping the surface with the cleaner for 3M 08631 glasses.
6. Repeat step # 4, if they are left marks on the surface.
7. If all the signs were removed, replace the cap with the orange 3M 01927 09550 3M swab and apply the paste again. Begin polishing exerting substantial pressure and subsequently reduce the force when the dough begins to dry.
8. Remove any residues of pasta with a microfiber cloth 3M 2010
9. To remove the pasta splashing on the adjacent areas, and on plastic or rubber parts, use a damp cloth.

Caution: on large surfaces treated with it is very important to the scratch-resistant paints sanding along with the discs 3M Trizact finish at the end of the phase of sanding.
